That's what we can do, that's what we LOVE, that's what we're known for –

customizing our carpet designs and qualities for special spaces.
In this case, the foyer of the MKG in Hamburg, which we furnished with hand-tufted carpets from Besau Marguerre's RIB collection. As well as the conference room of the MKG, for which we specially made a hand-woven design in large block stripes. Playful yet meaningful and always thinking about the place.Made to order by Reuber Henning

A real feast for the eyes

No need to go looking for bling in the newly renovated Ritz Carlton restaurant Aura, because you won't find it.
Instead, HENN architects have relied on a feeling of naturalness for their make-over and as such have created a contrast to the charm of the listed VW power plant.
The design concept, which is based on a coastal landscape, is perfectly highlighted with our two hand-knotted rugs. The highest quality and the sensitive handling of materials makes it possible to enjoy the food in the Aura restaurant with all our senses.
Interior design at its finest.

"Loveland" chez Colette

The architects of Bruzkus Batek did their best to ensure that guests' feet will remain warm and cosy at Tim Raue's Brasserie Colette: With "Loveland" in a custom size, they have added a vintage twist to its modern French look, the cat's meow of the interior, as it were. The mix results in a sophisticated laid-back ambience that entices guests to stay longer than planned and have one more glass of wine at the long table.

In our flatweaves "Loveland", "Summerland", "Darkland" and "Grauland", the succession of stripes is based on chance, involving up to 40 different shades, whose combination results in a harmonic overall appearance and makes the rug blend in perfectly with the existing interior.

ANTIVILLA - KRAMPNITZ / POTSDAM

A piece of art you can walk on, REUBER HENNING design SHALLOW LUNA has been adorning Berlin-based architect Arno Brandlhuber's "Antivilla" since May 2015. The former knitwear factory, set on the shore of a lake, Krampnitzsee, close to Potsdam, has been converted into a modern bulding avoiding all pomp, very much unlike the typical villa. Instead, it radiates a rough industrial charm reminiscent of the GDR era. With its watery grey and turquoise shades, the round rug mimics the lake surface while also evoking the moon, which shines in through large window holes at night: Within the villa's raw concrete walls and minimalistic interiors, SHALLOW LUNA constitutes an almost natural element. However, it does not only reflect the natural surroundings, but also takes up the room's subtle greys, combining all of the villa's special characteristics, the low-key aesthetic of the raw concrete as well as its openness to nature.

Hotel Cordée des Alpes – Verbier, Switzerland

In the heart of the Swiss Alps, "La Cordée des Alpes" opened its doors in late 2012. Nestled into the impressive alpine landscape of the exclusive ski resort of Verbier, the hotel stands out for its design reflecting the natural environment and the use of superior materials. In the lobby and in 23 rooms, rugs from our "As Simple As" Collection provide the finishing touch to the ambience. Adapted to match the existing colours and materials, our rugs harmoniously complete the natural, yet classy style of the hotel: The wool-and-silk designs embellish rustic as well as luxurious moments and highlight the standards of the place.

UN Headquarters – New York

With their tapestry "Sprung in die Wolken", REUBER HENNING have brought German woods to New York: Since 2013, the 36-square-metre tapestry has been adorning the UN Headquarters' Quiet Room. Made to measure from wool and silk, it takes up some of the characteristics of the graphics by Günter Fruhtrunk that used to decorate the same walls.
The new interior design by Meuser Architekten, with furniture by Walter Knoll and the REUBER HENNING tapestry, is a gift of Germany's Federal Foreign Office.

German Embassy – Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Who wouldn't think of coffee as soon as Ethiopia was mentioned! And that is what now adorns the walls of the German Embassy in Addis Ababa: The reception area has been decorated with two "Arabica" tapestries by REUBER HENNING, depicting two lush coffee plants. True to nature, the motifs seem to stem from an illustrated botany book.
